DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Our people are one of the key reasons we lead our industry mutual respect. We work by our Robey Construction Covenants, which encourage openness, teamwork, and trust. We value an inclusive culture based on diverse backgrounds, experience, and views.

You’ll find Robey Construction employees throughout the country, representing multiple nationalities and speaking different languages. We’re proud of this diversity and it’s one of our strengths. Our people are one of the key reasons we lead our industry, and they come together project after project in dynamic teams whenever they are needed.

They also are the backbone of our extensive and world-class stewardship program. And they carry out our commitment to supplier diversity, and support of small businesses around the country.

At Robey Construction, respecting diversity means respecting individuals and valuing the talents that make each of us unique. But diversity needs an inclusive culture that enables each of us to thrive.

“OUR DIVERSITY & INCLUSION VISION”

To build a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes our value of mutual respect and allows us to use the unique talents and perspectives of our workforce to generate competitive advantage. We will attract and retain the best people and create a workplace where all employees can reach their potential and enable us to meet the diverse requirements and expectations of our global customers.

“ROBEY CONSTRUCTION WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP CONEFENCE”

Robey Construction is committed to learning and development by creating a more diverse and inclusive environment, where our female employees can advance and thrive.  Annually, Robey Construction holds the Women’s Leadership Conference, a one day conference hosted by the corporate diversity and inclusion office in partnership with senior leaders in the business. The conference is one vehicle through which we can demonstrate organizational inclusiveness by delivering targeted development to current and emerging leaders, and provides an opportunity for colleagues to build a strong internal network, share knowledge, and connect with role models with whom they can relate.

“EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUP”

Employee resource groups are formally structured groups, tied to business objectives and diversity values that support our colleagues and our company by providing opportunities to increase employee engagement and talent development, and create business value. These groups help the company maintain a diverse and balanced workforce, reinforce a culture of mutual respect and inclusion in which employees can thrive, and encourage the exchange of different perspectives, styles, thoughts, and ideas.

Currently we have employee resource groups focused on new career hires, or as we believe, the next generation of Robey Construction leadership, service veterans, and women Robey Construction .
